Import

Pick the part you play (one or two). Everything else becomes your backing band. With one part, the game works out which notes belong to which hand.

Play along with a recording

Keystage pulls the piano out of the song, writes down its notes for you to play, and keeps everything else as your band. It all happens on this computer: nothing is uploaded. The first time, it downloads about 300 MB of AI models (kept for next time), and a song takes a few minutes. Songs where the piano is loud and clear work best.

Find songs

All free, no account needed. Download the .mid file, then drop it onto Keystage (or use + Import file). Arrangements with "piano" or "easy" in the name usually play best.

Drop MIDI files, recordings or Keystage song packs to add them to your setlist

Calibrate timing

You'll hear 16 clicks. Tap any piano key exactly on each click. Listen, don't watch.
